Kutai Kartanegara Achieves Kalpataru Award 2024
In 2024, the Pokdarwis B3 group from Pela village in the Kota Bangun district was awarded the Kalpataru Award for their contribution to environmental protection in Indonesia. This award ceremony took place during the Environmental Day celebrations in Jakarta, recognizing the efforts to protect the habitat of the freshwater dolphin - Mahakam Pesut.
