Chinese Culture Gallery in Indonesia: A New Cultural Center

In January 2026, the Chinese Culture Gallery in Indonesia was officially opened, aimed at preserving the cultural heritage of Chinese people in the region. This cultural center was developed by Agung Sedayu Group in collaboration with Salim Group in the Pantjoran Pantai Indah Kapuk area. The opening ceremony was attended by Indonesia’s Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, along with executives from both companies and invited guests. The gallery displays cultural elements through an innovative approach, offering educational programs and immersing visitors in a unique atmosphere. Visitors can explore traditional photographs and items from the Chinese community in Indonesia, alongside replicas of national dishes that caught the Minister’s eye. Natalia Kusumo, CEO of Agung Sedayu Group, expressed her hope that the gallery will become an educational and inspirational hub for all visitors, including international tourists, allowing them to experience the culture of both nations. The gallery also serves as a platform for community growth and creative ideas.
