Danamon's Strategy to Boost Business Ahead of Lebaran 2026

Ahead of the Lebaran 2026, which closely follows the 2025 Christmas and New Year holidays, PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk is making decisive moves to boost its business. With projected increases in consumer spending starting from October, the bank is expanding its presence through numerous offline events and offering additional financial opportunities to its clients.

As part of its strategy, Danamon is organizing an extensive network of offline events including mini travel fairs and supporting major exhibitions like the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS). The events will take place in Danamon’s 350 branches covering nearly 200 cities nationwide, allowing for expanded regional presence and increased customer base.

Besides, Danamon is actively providing its clients, especially in the automotive sector, with increased transaction limits. This step is intended to meet the growing financial needs of clients during the busy Lebaran period. The bank believes these measures will not only stimulate consumer activity but also increase sales volumes of cars and their components.

Edy Supriyanto, the head of Danamon’s transaction banking, notes that the automotive market is showing significant growth, with increases in sales of vehicles and spare parts expected. This is attributed to the culture of festive travels (mudik) in Indonesia, which boosts demand for vehicles during this period. Ultimately, Danamon’s strategy aims to maximize profits by leveraging the dynamic holiday shopping season with cutting-edge marketing and financial solutions.
