PKS Deputy Faction Chair Urges Immediate Recognition of Sumatra Flood as National Disaster!

In recent days, several regions of Indonesia, such as Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra, have been severely affected by floods. Sukamta, Deputy Chair of Commission I of the DPR RI, urged the government to recognize this disaster as a national disaster. He stated that the scale of the damage is immense, with many casualties, hundreds displaced, and infrastructure destroyed. The government needs to officially recognize this disaster as soon as possible to receive national support and organize more effective relief measures. Many areas are experiencing a shortage of resources and need urgent assistance.
