PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia Exceeds Oil and Gas Production Targets for 2025

PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) concluded the year 2025 with remarkable achievements in various fields: from safety and operational effectiveness to environmental management. These successes have been achieved thanks to a strong team and effective strategies.

Sunaryanto, President Director of PHI, emphasized at a press conference that the company places primary importance on safety. “No target is more important than safety,” he stated. In 2025, the company achieved 41.8 million safe work hours with minimal incident rates.

On the production front, PHI also showed outstanding results, exceeding the set oil and gas production targets. The company achieved this through successful drilling and development of new wells, which in turn increased the 1P and 2C reserves.

Teamwork was a crucial factor in this success, and Sunaryanto praised the efforts of every employee. He noted that the 2025 results would not have been possible without the discipline and collective responsibility of the entire team.

PHI is also actively engaged in societal support through empowerment programs and environmental initiatives. The company received high PROPER ratings - seven green and four blue ratings for its environmental performance.

Looking ahead, the company has set ambitious goals for 2026, continuing to focus on safety, profitable investments, and strengthening corporate governance. “Ten years of successful operation have only strengthened our spirit and desire to serve the nation’s energy security interests,” added Sunaryanto.
