This figure is a 3.64 percent increase from the previous year, underscoring the industry’s role as a new backbone for job creation. The sector’s success plays a vital role in boosting several related sectors, including SMEs, event organizing, digital services, security, and marketing. Furthermore, tourism also significantly contributed to economic growth, accounting for 3.97 percent of the GDP, which extends to 4.80 percent when considering its multiplier effects.
