The Indonesian Women Entrepreneurs Association (IWAPI) has announced a partnership with PT AI Indonesia to promote the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology among women entrepreneurs, particularly in micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This collaboration aims to enhance digital literacy, business efficiency, and the competitiveness of women entrepreneurs amid the accelerated digital economic transformation.

The agreement was announced during the 51st anniversary celebration of IWAPI held at the Investment and Industry Ministry building in Jakarta on February 10, 2026. The strategic significance of this step lies in strengthening IWAPI’s role in supporting its members facing an increasingly digital business landscape.

Currently, IWAPI encompasses over 50,000 women entrepreneurs across 38 provinces. With this extensive national network, the organization believes that partnering with tech industry players will help implement digital transformation effectively.

CEO of PT AI Indonesia, Sony Subrata, stated that this partnership is part of the company’s commitment to broadening the understanding and implementation of artificial intelligence in various sectors, including MSMEs.

“This collaboration provides us an opportunity to share knowledge and experiences in AI with women entrepreneurs, particularly MSMEs across Indonesia,” said Sony.

According to him, AI has evolved into a technology that can be directly utilized to enhance productivity and business efficiency. Therefore, mastering this technology is not merely a choice but a necessity.
