Indonesia Strengthens Digital Integration for Improved Hajj and Umrah Services

The quality of services for Indonesian pilgrims performing Hajj and Umrah is set to improve significantly through efforts to integrate digital systems with Saudi Arabia. This initiative aims to ensure the safety and comfort of Indonesian travelers. This statement was made by Indonesia’s Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Moch. Irfan Yusuf. “This system integration is not just about technological modernization but also about the safety and comfort of pilgrims. Visa processing, accommodation, healthcare services, and pilgrims’ return will be closely monitored and protected,” he stated. Indonesia fully supports Saudi’s modernization initiative as part of Saudi Vision 2030 and has proposed flexible regulations for replacing visas for those pilgrims who could not embark on the sacred journey.
