Tourism Minister: Bali Ready to Provide Top-notch Service in 2026
The beginning of 2026 is marked by a visit from Minister of Tourism, Widiyanti Putri Wardhana, to Bali. Her visit aims to ensure the island offers top-notch services during the holiday season. The Minister visited Ngurah Rai International Airport to check service quality from check-in counters to visa on arrival services. In 2025, foreign tourist visits exceeded 7.05 million, marking an 11% increase from 2024, setting a record for Bali. Meanwhile, domestic tourism continues to be significant, albeit with a slight decrease in figures. The Great Sale 2025 initiative aids in attracting tourists, highlighting key attractions like Icon Bali Mall. Through goal setting and collaboration between government and businesses, Bali’s tourism industry is set for sustainable growth.
