Resort World Genting Strengthens Tourism Partnership with Indonesia

Resort World Genting has officially announced a significant expansion of its presence in the Indonesian market through a strategic agreement with GlobalTix, Plaza Premium Group, and travel platforms tiket.com and Traveloka. Spencer Lee, the Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing & Public Relations for Resorts World Genting, emphasized the key role Indonesian tourists play in the overall number of arrivals in Malaysia and that the company is working to create an ecosystem that provides the most comfortable conditions for Indonesian visitors. In collaboration with Traveloka and tiket.com, the resort offers special deals for the Indonesian market, including exclusive packages for accommodation and flights. Through this partnership with Resorts World Genting, Traveloka and tiket.com aim to significantly enhance the booking process for Indonesian users, making trips more accessible and convenient. Tourism Malaysia’s Director, Hairi Mohd Yakzan, noted the importance of the Indonesian market for Malaysia and emphasized that this partnership demonstrates successful collaboration between the public and private sectors in promoting Visit Malaysia 2026.
