Kendari Government Partners with PT Easybook to Develop Technology-Based Facility
On January 12, 2026, a significant event took place in Kendari: the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the local public company Perumda and PT Easybook Teknologi Indonesia aimed at enhancing the city’s technological capabilities. The event took place in the presence of the Mayor of Kendari, Siska Karina Imran, and other high-ranking officials, including department representatives and leadership from both organizations.
The main goal of the collaboration is to modernize and develop the Anjungan Kota Kendari park. In her speech, the mayor stressed the importance of this initiative in promoting regional tourism and improving infrastructure. This collaboration includes four key areas: development of the park infrastructure, enhancement of supporting services, marketing and promotion of tourist services, and strengthening the status of Anjungan Kota Kendari as a premier tourist destination.
Siska Karina Imran emphasized that the introduction of new technologies is a strategic objective for the city, aiming to attract a broader range of tourists. This will also significantly boost the region’s economic potential and the well-being of its residents.
