This is necessary to ensure food security and economic growth in coastal areas. Economist Achmad Tjahja states that fishing villages must be strengthened through the introduction of modern maritime technology and the development of human resources. For this purpose, the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries should actively promote technology to coastal regions to enhance productivity and improve the living conditions of local inhabitants.
