UMS Reinforces One Muhammadiyah through Darul Arqam at the Ranting Level
On the third day of the Darul Arqam Leadership event at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS), the significance of the One Muhammadiyah concept was emphasized. Held at MTs Muhammadiyah Program Khusus Bayat, Ranting Krakitan, Klaten, this event exemplified coordination across all Muhammadiyah structures, from central leadership down to local branches. This organizational method allows for the extensive dissemination of the movement’s values and principles at every level. Professor Zakiyuddin Baidhawy delivered a presentation titled ‘Progressive Indonesia: Reconstructing Meaningful National Life’. It highlights Muhammadiyah’s success in integrating Islamic values across various sectors such as education, healthcare, and economics. This showcases how Islamic norms can be adapted to the modern world. Muhammadiyah aims to revive traditional and Islamic values to align them with modern needs, leading to societal advancement.
