Education Becomes a Serious Focus for F-PG MPR RI
The Development Party Fraction in the People’s Consultative Assembly (F-PG MPR RI) has prioritized tackling educational issues as a core part of its agenda. Educational support is seen as the foundation for Indonesia’s development, as enshrined in the Constitution. The party believes that education is a key factor in addressing various social and economic challenges facing the country.
A recent meeting of the faction highlighted the need to modernize the educational system to meet contemporary challenges. Concerns were expressed about the mismatch between rapidly changing technologies and the skills today’s students possess.
Leaders emphasize the importance of investment in early childhood education as it could improve literacy rates and ensure a deeper understanding of fundamental scientific principles.
Funding issues were also discussed. The state’s vital role in enhancing access to education and promoting innovative approaches was emphasized by urging increased budget allocations in this sector. Faction members called for strengthened inter-agency cooperation to provide comprehensive support for educational institutions.
Improving teaching and teacher preparation is another priority. The party stresses the need for upskilling existing educators and leveraging advanced technologies in the educational process.
F-PG MPR RI aims not only to raise the educational standards within the country but also to develop Indonesia’s educational system as a model for other nations. Given the current geopolitical and economic challenges, social leaders believe that education should remain a tool for Indonesia’s global leadership. This would not only aid national growth but also strengthen Indonesia’s position on the international stage.
