Survey Results: The Meaning of Ramadan for Indonesians

A survey conducted by YouGov at the end of 2025 revealed that the greatest significance of the Ramadan month for most Indonesians is seen as a time for strengthening faith and self-reflection, as stated by 66% of respondents. The second most important aspect is considered to be a time for family and togetherness, noted by 52% of those surveyed. This period is perceived as a unique opportunity for bonding and strengthening family ties.
