Prabowo Reveals Survey: Indonesia as the Happiest Nation in the World

In a speech during the 2025 National Christmas celebration, President of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto expressed his deep gratitude and was moved by the fact that Indonesia has been recognized as the happiest nation in the world, according to the Global Flourishing Study. This study, conducted in collaboration with Harvard University, Baylor University, and Gallup, highlighted that despite living modestly and not always in prosperity, many Indonesians continue to perceive themselves as happy. He emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to improve the welfare of the population together with the best representatives of the nation working in his government. The survey, which covered more than 200 countries, surprised many nations with its results, showcasing the unique nature of the Indonesian spirit.
