BAZNAS Distributes King Salman's 7 Billion Rupiah Aid Ahead of Ramadan 2026

The National Zakat Management Agency of Indonesia (BAZNAS) announced the receipt and distribution of humanitarian aid from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The project, known as the Etaam Basket Project (Initiative 5), involves providing numerous food packages to needy Indonesian citizens ahead of the holy month of Ramadan 2026. The global compassion of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Saudi Crown Prince is expressed through this substantial donation of essentials, including rice, cooking oil, and other primary goods. The aid handover ceremony took place at the BAZNAS office in Jakarta attended by representatives from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Saudi ambassador to Indonesia. BAZNAS RI Chairman, Prof. Noor Ahmad, emphasized the importance of this aid for many citizens with limited financial means, hoping that such support will continue in future years.
