Indonesian Investor's Success in the Australian Property Market

Indonesian company One Global Capital successfully realized a considerable investment return, achieving profits of IDR 1.2 trillion from the Five Dock property project in Sydney, Australia. This investment journey began over 20 years ago with an initial investment of AUD 5 million. In 2019, when a rezoning for the project was approved, the property’s value surged significantly. Investors who placed AUD 250,000 received over AUD 2.75 million in return, yielding 11 times their initial investment. The company’s leader, Ivan Sunito, emphasized the importance of informed and long-term real estate investing. He noted that the project was achieved through strict management and patience over two decades, with Australia’s economic stability bolstering their success. Sunito plans to expand access for Indonesian investors to global assets in the future, lowering barriers for their participation in international markets.
