Bank Jakarta Launches Visa Debit Card, Expands Global Transactions
Bank Jakarta officially launched its Visa Debit Card on January 5, 2026, aiming to expand global transactions and accelerate the transformation of regional banking. The event was attended by Governor of DKI Jakarta Pramono Anung and other dignitaries. The new product targets customers seeking access to international financial infrastructure and symbolizes the bank’s step towards modernization and integration into the global economy. The governor emphasized the importance of this initiative in building trust in the bank, while the bank’s head Agus H. Widodo expressed confidence that this product would be a pivotal step in the bank’s transformation. The Visa card will enable clients to conduct more secure and reliable international transactions and strengthen customer relations.
