Operation in Nightclub: Arrest of Foreign DJs and Dancers

In South Jakarta’s Kuningan area, an operation targeted at uncovering violations of immigration regulations was conducted. During the operation, two foreign nationals were detained for engaging in activities not aligned with their visas. ZS, a Chinese citizen, was working as a DJ under a Visa on Arrival, while KS, a Thai national, was performing as a dancer using a visa-free entry. This operation, part of joint efforts in migration control, emphasized the need to protect Indonesian social and cultural norms. Besides visa violations, it was found that the venue is a gathering point for undesirable communities.
