Partai Gema Bangsa Offers Three Ideas to Improve National Politics

Partai Gema Bangsa, a relatively new political force in Indonesia, has made its mark with serious intentions to transform national politics. The party’s vice-chairman, Joko Kanigoro, shared three key ideas that he believes can revolutionize the country’s political scene. These ideas include isoarkisme, egalokrasi, and decentralization of power. Isoarkisme entails the rejection of permanent power and the sacrality of positions, critiquing modern forms of feudalism within the democratic system. Egalokrasi aims to institutionalize leadership to avoid excessive reliance on personalities. Lastly, the decentralization of politics suggests the distribution of power at regional and local levels, minimizing the concentration of power in the hands of elite groups.
