TNI and Police Quick Response to Airplane Shooting Incident in Papua

Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs, Djamar Chaniago, praised the swift action taken by the TNI and Police in response to the airplane shooting incident in Boven Digoel, South Papua. The rapid response, which included victim evacuation and security restoration, demonstrates the state’s presence in ensuring citizen safety. Security issues were the main topic at the police leadership meeting held in TMII, where Chaniago thanked local authorities, especially the Papua Police Chief, for addressing the shooting issue linked to armed groups.
