Cultural Diplomacy of Ubhara Jaya: Nusantara Values for Indonesian Students in Egypt

Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya (Ubhara Jaya) is enhancing Indonesian educational and cultural diplomacy internationally through its Overseas Community Engagement Program. This commitment was exemplified by activities at the Indonesian School in Cairo (SIC), Egypt, held on November 23-25, 2025. With the theme “Integration of Nusantara Culture in Enhancing Teacher and Student Competencies,” the program was initiated by the PKM team of Ubhara Jaya. The event was attended by Indonesian educational policymakers and diplomatic representatives in Egypt. SIC teachers received training in literacy and cultural understanding, while students were introduced to traditional Indonesian arts and culture. The program also included signing cooperation agreements and celebrating Teacher’s Day.
