Maybank and Visa to Host Maybank Marathon 2026 in Bali

In 2026, Bali will host the prestigious Maybank Marathon, with Visa as the title sponsor. This event, recognized as Indonesia’s first World Athletics Elite Label Road Race, promotes sports tourism and attracts both local and international athletes.

At the Jakarta press conference, Stefano Ridwan, President Director of Maybank Indonesia, emphasized the marathon’s importance not only as a competition but as a cultural event. “Every step is not just about time but about inspiring others,” he said.

The event contributes to economic and social progress in the regions, including introducing Bali as a world-class marathon destination. Visa Indonesia’s Country Manager, Vira Widiyasari, noted that sports unite people and drive the economy.

Maybank Marathon 2026 will enhance participant safety and comfort, continuing to adhere to sustainability principles, with categories including marathon, half marathon, and 10K.

Registration is set to open in February 2026.
