Korea Extends Visa Fee Waiver for Six Countries, Including Indonesia
Significant news for tourists from Indonesia: South Korea has decided to extend the visa fee waiver for tourist groups from six countries, including Indonesia. This decision was announced by South Korean Finance Minister Koo Yun-cheol and will remain effective until the end of June next year.
The C-3-2 visa, intended for tourist groups, will save travelers 18,000 won in processing fees. The visa fee exemption aims to maintain the flow of tourists, which will positively impact the tourism industry. In addition to Indonesia, the extension covers China, India, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Cambodia. These changes will positively affect tourism development and strengthen bilateral relations between South Korea and Indonesia.
Such measures are designed to make travel easier and stimulate tourist interest in South Korea, offering more opportunities for Indonesian tourists to enjoy the culture and attractions of the country.
This news is particularly relevant considering the impact of the pandemic, as countries seek new ways to attract international tourists. Such initiatives not only aid the economy but also strengthen cultural ties between nations.
