South Korea has announced the extension of the visa fee exemption program for tour groups from six countries, including Indonesia, until June 2026. This measure aims to sustain the positive trend in tourism and economic growth. Initially set to end in December 2025, the program was extended due to high demand and the popularity of Korean culture. Tourists from Indonesia, China, India, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Cambodia can now apply for short-term visas without any fees. This decision is expected to positively impact the number of tourists visiting the country, which is crucial for South Korea’s economy and strengthening international relations.
