Kemenhaj Speeds Up Hajj Visa Process 2026, Integrates SISKOHAT and Nusuk Platform

An important step in the digital transformation of Hajj has been made by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Indonesia, which announced the integration of the SISKOHAT system with Saudi Arabia’s Nusuk platform in 2026. This initiative aims to ensure automatic real-time validation of pilgrims’ data, leading to an accelerated visa process and improved service reliability for Indonesian pilgrims. According to Farosa, Head of the Data and Technology Center of the Indonesian Hajj Ministry, this integration reduces human intervention and ensures data accuracy. Now, the information exchange process between the countries’ systems will occur without human involvement, eliminating the risk of data inconsistency that existed before. The development and deployment of the system began back in October 2025, with support received both nationally and internationally. It’s also crucial to note the focus on personal data protection and cybersecurity throughout this integration. The technical solution was designed to allow data encryption, with system access granted only to authorized users. These are additional measures to comply with international security standards. The project has also received positive feedback from the previous head of the structure, Moch. Hasan Affandi, and project leader Ali. Thus, the integration of the two systems promises even more efficient interaction due to automated data processing and technological compatibility. This initiative opens a new chapter in Hajj governance, aiming both to improve service quality and simplify visa procedures for pilgrims.
