BEI to Publish Shareholders Concentration List

The Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) plans to release a Shareholders Concentration List, highlighting companies with a high concentration of shares held by individual stakeholders. According to Acting President Director Jeffrey Hendrik, this initiative aims to increase transparency and integrity in Indonesia’s stock market. The concept, already implemented in Hong Kong, is expected to set a standard in Indonesia. The plan includes publishing data on shareholders owning more than 1% of a company’s total shares. This step is intended to promote fair operations and build investor trust, as well as enable more detailed analysis of capital flows within the Indonesian market.
