WIA 2025: A Step Forward in Advancing Indonesia's Quality Tourism
Indonesia’s Minister of Tourism, Widiyanti Putri Wardhana, emphasized the significance of the Wonderful Indonesia Awards 2025 (WIA) as a tool to promote quality tourism. The event, held in Jakarta on December 5, 2025, served as a pivotal platform to acknowledge industry achievements. The minister described WIA as a mirror of the collective journey committed to ensuring the sector’s sustainable, quality, and competitive growth. She highlighted that, over the past year, Indonesia’s tourism has garnered over 150 global awards, reinforcing its rising prominence worldwide.
