Redesign of Pantai Paseban: Tourism and Sports Hub
Pantai Paseban, one of Indonesia’s natural gems, is undergoing a significant transformation into a modern hub for tourism, sports, and small enterprises. This project aims to attract more tourists both domestically and internationally, positively impacting the local economy. The new beach concept includes creating areas for water sports such as surfing and kayaking, along with beach volleyball and soccer courts. This approach turns Paseban into an active zone for leisure and sports while supporting the development of small and medium businesses through the establishment of shopping and dining areas. It’s important to highlight the project’s focus on sustainability — using natural materials and renewable energy sources will be key to its implementation. The project is already bearing fruit: there is an increase in jobs for locals and a noticeable reduction in unemployment. Involving local communities in the project ensures harmony between development and the preservation of cultural traditions, which also attracts tourists interested in Indonesian culture and traditions.
