Pos Indonesia, the largest postal company in Indonesia, announced a strategic transformation plan aimed at maintaining the company’s relevance and competitiveness in the complex logistics arena. At the core of these changes is the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and national logistics consolidation. Director of Business Development and Portfolio Management Prasabri Pesti emphasized that AI-based digital transformation is not a separate project but a foundation for the company’s future development. Leveraging technology and increasing business scale are key directions to enhance operational efficiency and sustain competitive levels. Prasabri also highlighted the importance of consolidating business with other logistic forces, which will enable significant cost savings and expand the company’s operational capacities. Danantara Indonesia is working to consolidate all state-owned enterprises in the logistics sector, with Pos Indonesia appointed as the main organization managing all state-owned logistic companies. This will not only enhance efficiency in the domestic market but also open doors for international cooperation and entry into global markets.
