The focus is on reinforcing the electric vehicle ecosystem (EV Ecosystem) by addressing the specific characteristics of the Indonesian market, prominently featuring the Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) segment. This move is part of Kia’s global strategy, Plan S, which aims for a systematic transition towards future mobility solutions and electrification. Kia emphasizes the development and deployment of the E-GMP platform, known for optimized weight distribution, offering a range of designs and usage scenarios. The Managing Director of Kia Sales Indonesia stated that Indonesia is a crucial market, necessitating an adaptive approach that considers both infrastructure readiness and local characteristics.
