Indonesian Aid for Palestine Through Dompet Dhuafa

In February 2026, Dompet Dhuafa, a notable Indonesian charitable organization, played a pivotal role in delivering substantial humanitarian aid to the residents of Palestine. During an event at the Al-Aqsa Mosque complex in the Old City of Jerusalem (Al-Quds), the widespread support from the Indonesian community was handed over to the local inhabitants. Dompet Dhuafa, in collaboration with local organizations, distributed 300 Quran copies, provided financial assistance to orphans and Quran Hafiz, and purchased products from local small and medium enterprises (UMKM). This initiative, launched in anticipation of the holy month of Ramadan, is part of Indonesia’s broader strategy of humanitarian support for Palestine, emphasizing the strong ties between the two nations. Event organizers, including representatives and volunteers from Dompet Dhuafa, met with Palestinian representatives to discuss prospects for further cooperation. Such efforts contribute not only to physical aid but also to cultural exchange, strengthening ties between the peoples and regions.
