The event brought together industry leaders, including Agung Sedayu Group’s CEO Nono Sampono and Banten Governor Andra Soni. Nono Sampono highlighted the significant multiplier effect of the industry on the economy, citing the Pantai Indah Kapuk projects, which provided employment for over 200,000 people from 2021 to 2024. Moreover, it resulted in substantial tax revenues. Banten Governor echoed this view, noting that the property sector spurs the creation of new economic hubs and requires attention to the needs of low-income citizens. To expand housing access, simplifying the permitting process and developing public transportation are essential.
