Jakarta Property Market Enters Sustainable Growth Phase

According to global consultancy firm CBRE, the property market in Jakarta is entering a phase of sustainable growth. The growth is attributed to limited supply, leading to increased demand for premium properties. Angela Wibawa, Managing Director of CBRE Indonesia, emphasized the company’s commitment to expanding its presence in Indonesia to assist clients in navigating the dynamic property market. Infrastructure and industrial land are becoming strategically important to support Indonesia’s digital economy. CBRE’s Head of Research, Anton Sitorus, added that Indonesia maintains impressive economic growth, and the government’s ambitious targets by 2029 highlight positive long-term prospects. The rapid growth of the retail and logistics sector, along with dynamic changes in consumer preferences, are reshaping the market, where leading malls offer lifestyle and retailtainment concepts.
