Trust in President Prabowo Reaches Over 90%

A recent national survey conducted by Indikator Politik Indonesia revealed an astonishingly high level of trust in the President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto. Over 90% of respondents expressed trust or strong trust in him both personally and as a national leader. Such surveys often highlight public perception of national leadership. Notably, the level of trust in Prabowo exceeds the approval rating of his performance, which is about 79.9%. These figures indicate a high level of support, which in turn provides stable legitimacy for the current government. Professor Burhanuddin Muhtadi, a researcher at Indikator Politik Indonesia, states that the high trust reflects strong political legitimacy at the beginning of his term. He emphasizes that trust in the presidential position is often higher than the actual approval of his work. This is an important indicator for understanding social and political dynamics in the country. Additionally, the survey shows that the current approval rating is higher than that of previous presidents at the beginning of their terms. The survey data highlights that despite various economic conditions in the country, citizens’ evaluations and perceptions remain relatively positive.
