SAR Deploys 100 Personnel for Padusan at Parangtritis Beach
With the approach of the traditional Padusan, approximately 100 SAR personnel will be deployed at Parangtritis Beach to ensure safety at this popular tourist spot. This event annually attracts many visitors, and this year is no exception. According to Rodhiva Wahyu Widho Santosa, the secretary of SAR Parangtritis, the team will oversee visitor safety during this important occasion before Ramadan 2026. Although Padusan is a time for relaxation and purification, the high visitor turnout necessitates enhanced safety measures. To bolster coastal protection, new team members have joined, who, along with experienced personnel, will work in shifts to ensure no rescuer is left unattended. In addition to additional personnel, the implementation of new rescue equipment, including jet skis and boats, will facilitate rapid response in emergencies. SAR aims to make Padusan a safe and prosperous event at Bantul beaches.
