Parachuting Accident in Pangandaran: 2 Athletes Dead, 3 Rescued

A tragic incident occurred in Pangandaran, West Java, where five extreme athletes were involved in a parachuting accident. On December 30, 2025, due to a sudden change in wind direction at a height of 10,000 feet, the incident took place. As a result, three were able to make an emergency landing, while two athletes fell into the water and died. According to the Pangandaran Police, all flights have been temporarily suspended for safety reasons. The accident happened shortly after the plane took off from Nusawiru Airport.
