Malaysia Expresses Condolences Over Landslide in Cisarua, Bandung Barat

The landslide in the Cisarua area of Bandung Barat, occurring on the night of January 24, 2026, led to tragic loss of life and significant damage to infrastructure. As of now, the death toll has reached ten, and 81 people are reported missing. Malaysian authorities expressed deep condolences to the families of the victims and hoped for the success of the rescue operations conducted by Indonesian authorities. The Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that no Malaysian citizens were affected and is in constant communication with the embassy in Indonesia to obtain current information.
