Investigation Results of Jetour T2 Accident on Jagorawi Toll Road

A recent incident involving a Jetour T2 vehicle on the Jagorawi Toll Road in Jakarta has garnered significant attention across Indonesia. Thanks to the efforts of PT Jetour Sales Indonesia and the Ministry of Transportation, a thorough and objective investigation was conducted to ensure consumer safety. The investigation audience was led by Yusuf Nugroho, the Director of Road Transportation Facilities and Safety at the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia. Various stakeholders, including the Indonesian branch director of Jetour and the National Transportation Safety Committee, were present. The results showed that the vehicle’s safety systems worked correctly. Despite the severe impact, airbags deployed, the vehicle structure remained stable, and doors were operable. Although the damage led to a fire, the implemented safety systems minimized the risk of fatality. Jetour has committed to ongoing data analysis to affirm its commitment to protecting user rights and safety.
