Commission V of the DPR RI addressed the incident involving the crash of an ATR 42-500 aircraft owned by Indonesia Air Transport (IAT) in the Maros Mountains, South Sulawesi. During a meeting with various ministries, Chairman Lasarus emphasized that the responsibility for the technical investigation lies with the National Transportation Safety Committee (KNKT). He stressed the need for a thorough and transparent investigation to prevent future occurrences, highlighting the importance of accrediting the results for the international community.
