Indonesia's Q4 Economic Growth Reaches 5.39%, Highest in G20

A significant development comes from Indonesia, where the head of government, President Prabowo Subianto, recently conducted a discussion with cabinet members on the country’s macroeconomic indicators. Minister of Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto reported that in the fourth quarter of 2025, Indonesia’s economy grew by 5.39%, marking the highest rate among G20 countries.
Over recent months, Indonesia has shown strong development across various sectors. In the manufacturing sector, there was an expansion index of 52.6, indicating stable growth and development in production. Consumer confidence also increased, as confirmed by the consumer spending index rising to 372.5.
Not only consumption but also the domestic market showed impressive results, with a year-on-year growth of 7.9%. The trade balance remained in surplus for the past 68 months, reflecting a stable economic situation in Indonesia.
President Prabowo emphasized that one of his top priorities remains supporting and enhancing the country’s economic potential amidst global uncertainties. Economic indicators in Indonesia point to resilience and the ability to respond strongly to potential external negative impacts.
