Indonesian History to be Available for Free in Digital Format

The Indonesian Ministry of Culture has confirmed that the new Indonesian history book will be accessible to the public for free in PDF format. The book’s editing process is in its final stages and will soon be published on the ministry’s official website. Minister of Culture Fadli Zon stated that the book covers significant periods of Indonesian history and will serve as a valuable resource for teachers and students. After the book’s publication in 2026, the ministry plans to write a new book focusing on the 1945–1949 period, highlighting Indonesia’s fight to maintain independence.
