Indonesian Finance Minister Expects 6% Economic Growth in 2026

Indonesian Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa expressed optimism that the country’s economic growth could reach 6% in 2026. During a press conference in Jakarta, Purbaya stated that achieving this target should not be difficult, given the implementation of strategies aimed at accelerating growth. Among the minister’s plans are the acceleration of fiscal spending at the beginning of the year and improved synchronization of monetary policy. The improvement of the business climate and removal of investment barriers are also noted as factors that will encourage investor interest. Purbaya promised to continue working on improving regulations and removing business obstacles.
