BAF Strengthens ESG Transformation by Joining UN Global Compact Network Indonesia

PT Bussan Auto Finance (BAF) has officially joined the UN Global Compact Network Indonesia (IGCN), marking a new chapter in its sustainability strategy. This event, held at the BAF Plaza headquarters, underscores the company’s commitment to sustainable and responsible business practices. As part of the UN Global Compact, BAF integrates environmental, social, and governance (ESG) aspects into its business processes, aligning with the UN’s 10 Principles and Sustainable Development Goals.

Sigit Sembodo, Managing Director of BAF, stated that this membership is a strategic step in the company’s transformation, ensuring balanced business growth and responsibility towards society. Integrating sustainability principles into all company operations will create long-term value for stakeholders and strengthen BAF’s future resilience.

During the session, IGCN presented its mission and key programs that support BAF’s sustainability strategy, including capacity development initiatives, thematic working groups, and collaborative action programs.
