According to Visa, the average person uses three different digital wallets, illustrating a move away from cash transactions. Online commerce is set to dominate, with Indonesia leading Southeast Asia in mobile commerce. The study reveals that 86% of Indonesian consumers use shopping apps, with half of them making purchases through social media platforms. Credit cards remain the primary tool for large purchases, while cash and debit cards are favored for everyday small transactions. The popularity of multi-currency cards is also growing, with about 30% of travelers using them.
