Kebun Raya Bogor, Indonesia’s largest botanical garden, has received a prestigious international award at the ASEAN Tourism Awards 2026 ceremony held in Cebu, Philippines. This award highlights Kebun Raya Bogor’s significance as an outstanding tourist destination successfully integrating educational programs, nature conservation, and high-level tourist service. The ASEAN Tourism Awards are part of the annual ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) initiative aimed at recognizing tourism industry players in Southeast Asia who meet high standards in sustainability, inclusiveness, and service quality. This year, the forum was held under the theme of strengthening a greener and more resilient tourism post-pandemic. Kebun Raya Bogor was awarded the ASEAN Sustainable Tourism Award in the Urban Category for effective environmental management, local community engagement, and efforts in biodiversity conservation in urban areas.
