Telkomsat Develops Internet Merah Putih for Equal Digital Access Across Indonesia

PT Telkom Satelit Indonesia (Telkomsat) has announced the launch of a new internet service, Internet Merah Putih (IMP), marking a significant advancement in satellite internet offerings. This initiative aims to provide wider and faster internet access to all regions of Indonesia, including remote areas. Supported by High Throughput Satellite (HTS) technology, Internet Merah Putih promises speeds up to 50 Mbps. With this, the new product will replace the existing Mangoesky service, offering users more stable and flexible connections. The launch ensures users can enjoy unlimited internet without fear of losing connectivity, which is crucial in the digital era. Telkomsat’s Commercial Director, Andri Yunianto, highlights that this change is in response to increasing consumer expectations for faster speeds and greater connection stability.
