Suzuki Launches e VITARA at IIMS 2026, Marks a New Era of Electric Mobility in Indonesia
At the 2026 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS), Suzuki Indomobil Sales officially unveiled its new electric SUV, the e VITARA. This launch marks not just a new model but a representation of Suzuki’s future mobility vision in Indonesia, focusing on sustainability and technology. Donny Saputra, Deputy Managing Director of PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales, stated that the e VITARA is the next milestone in the company’s strategy to implement a multi-pathway technological approach to modern mobility demands. Built on the High-Tech e platform, the e VITARA features a 61 kWh battery and fast-charging technology, enabling the battery to charge up to 80% in 50 minutes. The model offers a functional interior with integrated displays and a premium audio system. Color options and multiple driving modes make the vehicle adaptable to various conditions. The e VITARA is now available for order in Indonesia, starting at 755 million rupiah. The manufacturer offers unique after-sales services and extended warranties on the battery and other key components.
