Public Satisfaction at 79.9%: Indonesian Government Focused on Combating Poverty

In early February 2026, a survey by ‘Indikator Politik Indonesia’ revealed a remarkable 79.9% public approval rating for President Prabowo Subianto’s performance. This significant rating has exceeded the performance levels seen under previous leaders like Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Joko Widodo. However, the government remains focused on priority goals beyond mere approval ratings. State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi emphasized that their main focus is combating poverty and improving educational quality. Renovating schools and accelerating social programs are key agendas. He also noted the importance of tangible results, stressing that improvements should affect people’s daily lives, enhancing welfare rather than just driving high ratings.
